It is not called Borneo Giant for nothing, this thing gets huge. The beast of an Alocasia can reach 10 feet at maturity with leaves 3 feet wide and 4 feet long. Alocasia ‘Borneo Giant’ produces big ribbed foliage that looks like it could have fanned Cleopatra once upon a time. Its upright, arrow-shaped leaves sit on larger-than-life petioles. In full sun, you can expect a V-shaped clump. Alocasia ‘Borneo Giant’ looks great in a pot or looming over a flower bed.
